Building
We’re excited to see steady progress continuing on the new building. Most of the main floor concrete walls have now been poured, and the elevator foundation is beginning to take shape as well. Over the next 10 days, crews will focus on installing the main floor plumbing and electrical utilities before pouring the main floor concrete slab. We’re praying for a stretch of dry weather and minimal rain delays over the next few weeks. Once the slab is complete, the project should begin moving upward quickly, and you’ll start to see the building take shape in a dramatic way over the next 3–4 weeks.
Park
Out at the park, grading and hydroseeding are now complete. A little rain will actually help us here as the grass begins to grow in. The well-house foundation is also in place, and park utilities should be wrapped up within the next two weeks. The pond dock has been primed and is ready for paint. The deck material will follow very soon. And, finally, the pond has been stocked with fish and will soon be ready for y’all to try to catch em.
