Building
It’s exciting to see the new building finally starting to rise above the ground! Steel erection is now underway and is expected to take the next 2–3 weeks. Once the structural steel is in place, crews will install the permanent roof, allowing the temporary roof that has faithfully protected the project since before Christmas to come down. With each beam that goes up, the shape of the building becomes more defined, and the size of the new space is becoming easier to appreciate. Please continue to pray for everyone working onsite. We’re grateful that, through God’s protection, the project has experienced zero injuries or safety incidents.
Park
The park continues to take shape and is already being enjoyed. We’ve had a few informal gatherings around the lake and at the picnic tables, and it’s been fun to see people using the space. The northeast sidewalk has been graded and formed and will soon receive concrete, creating a connection to the city crosswalk and the neighborhood across the street. The north path will remain closed for now due to ongoing construction around the building, but you’re welcome to enjoy the rest of the park and walking paths. If you bring your dog, please keep them on a leash and help us keep the park clean by picking up after them. Dog sanitation stations will be installed soon.
Thank you for your continued prayers, generosity, and excitement as we continue making room for more.
