Building

The building continues to change almost daily! The second-floor concrete has now been poured, and grading around the front entrance is underway. Crews have begun framing the roof parapets, and we expect the roof to be completed soon. Interior and exterior walls are also going up, giving us an even better sense of the new spaces throughout the building. We’re hoping to have the building fully closed in very soon, which will be another big milestone for the project. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but it’s exciting to see just how far we’ve come.

Park

Even with the unbearably hot Texas weather, the grass continues to grow and fill in throughout the irrigated areas of the park. The pond and fishing dock are nicely established, and the walking paths, benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, and dog stations are all in place. We’re definitely looking forward to some cooler weather!

A few projects remain, including signage, irrigation and landscaping along the road, our new church sign, and completion of the path along the north side of the new building. We expect these finishing touches to be completed in time for our Grand Opening in October.
